About Tiptree Tearooms, Museum and Jam Shop

Tiptree Tearooms, Museum and Jam Shop was started over 50 years ago, John Wilkin began collecting the paraphernalia of preserve making and Essex village life.

The museum is jam packed giving an insight into developing technologies and a glimpse of past life in Tiptree and the surrounding countryside. Enjoy a coffee, cream tea or light lunch in the traditional tearoom.
