The Novium's exciting events programme features activities for all ages - from storytelling, workshops and creative crafternoon sessions to performing arts, guided walks and archival film screenings!
Our aim is for people to see as many of the museum's fascinating objects in the collections as possible. Our events allow visitors to discover the stories behind the objects and delve into the history of the collections at the museum.

Family Events
Fun for the whole family! Our family events are catered to all ages and include drop in craftsessions during school holidays with hands-on activties, dressing up and take away crafts. Throughout the year, we plan special weekend events such as fossil hunts, sleep overs, mini digs and re-enactments!
Performances and Workshops
Special and unique performances, including music, poetry and theatre are offered at The Novium - amongst the artefacts on display - or in the impressive and evocative setting of the Guildhall in Priory Park.
Workshops at The Novium provide opportunities to learn new skills, discover new information or simply enjoy yourself in a museum setting.
Talks and Tours
Led by specialist speakers from many disciplines, our talks and tours let visitors delve deeper into the collections and get behind the scenes at The Novium. From introductory topics to more in depth discussions, these talks and tours are open to a wide range of audiences.

Offered during the summer months, our walks are specially designed to shed greater light about the streets of Chichester.
