Redwings Horse Sanctuary was established in 1984 and has spent more than 25 years caring for rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.
The charity was set up to rescue and rehabilitate equines in need and has since grown to become the largest horse charity in the UK, positively intervening in the lives of around 2000 equines every year.
The Oxhill Rescue Centre is a Quality Assured Visitor Attraction with more than 50 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys to meet and greet along with a beautiful cafe, gift shop and information centre. Visitors can find out more about the charity, watch horse care demos and enjoy pleasant paddock walks, before shopping in the gift shop or enjoying a light meal in the Nosebag cafe.
The Redwings Oxhill Rescue Centre is open every day throughout the year, from 10am to 5pm and entry is free of charge. Parking is also free and dogs on leads are welcome too!
