Built in the 1840's, these cottages were amongst the first properties built in Penmaenmawr to house quarry workers.
The New York Cottages Museum occupies both floors of the fourth cottage, and tells the fascinating story of the growth of Penmaenmawr as a quarrying town in the 19th century.
The New York Cottages Museum is also developing an exciting exhibition for 2012 on the Graiglwyd Axe Factory, a 5,000 year old quarrying and stone-tool making site on Penmaenmawr mountain, just metres away from the modern quarry.
