Lydiard Park is a beautiful historic parkland on the western edge of Swindon. The Palladian house, restored 18th Century Walled Garden, 260 acre parkland and children's play area offer something for everyone, all year round. With a programme of special events and the changing nature of the seasons, there's always something new and exciting for all the family to enjoy on a visit here.
The stunning snowdrops are now out, creating a beautiful white carpet in the woodlands surrounding Lydiard House. This lovely, natural spectacle should last for a several more weeks and is a welcome sign that spring is just around the corner! It shouldn't be long before the bulbs will blossom in the Walled Garden with elegant displays of rare tulip varieties, daffodils, hyacinths and Crown Imperials.
