It is believed Edinburgh Crystal went bankrupt in 2006 leading to the closure of its factory (and visitor centre) in Penicuik, near Edinburgh. Although Edinburgh Crystal survives as a brand name, all its products are now manufactured outside Scotland.
The Edinburgh Crystal Visitor Centre offers the perfect shopping experience. Our shop offers the world's largest selection of Edinburgh Crystal and showcases the entire Edinburgh Crystal range as well as unique pieces created by our cutters and engravers.
You will be able to see some of these pieces being made and chat to the Master Craftsmen while they work, but call ahead to avoid disappointment.
You can also learn more about the crystal making process throughout the centuries in our Heritage Museum.
In addition to the Edinburgh Crystal collection, we also offer a wide range of products from other quality crystal manufacturers located throughout the UK and Europe. Our Crystal selection is second to none and is a truly unique collection.

Slight imperfections, promotional lines and first quality stock can also be found in the factory shop.
