Burbage Common is HBBC's largest countryside site located on the outskirts of Hinckley within easy reach of both east and west midlands.
This mix of semi natural woodland and unspoilt grassland is 80 hectors (200 acres) in size. Picnic areas, permissive horse riding trails and several miles of public footpaths can be enjoyed on this site. Burbage Common provides excellent opportunities for a number of recreational activities, including walking, bird watching, horse riding, orienteering and environmental activities / education. Burbage Common is a great place to come and enjoy local wildlife, this includes many species of mammals, birds, fungi, and invertebrates.
