We will be bringing you all the latest news to do with WideCow as well as feature posts about great things and ideas for you to do while you are out and about on a great day out.
One article we will bring you is the top ten attractions of the previous month. For the last year we have been excited to find out every month what has been the most viewed attractions. So we thought we would use our new blog to share these with our users.
Some of our longer users will also notice that this blog is not the only new change to be happening at WideCow.
We have been working on making the design and layout of WideCow a lot simpler and easier to use to help you find what it is that you want to do on a day out. As well as getting information that you are looking for, to you.
With additions of:
A Better lay out for the days out.
An all new rating system.
Average user ratings.
A brand new comments system.
Weather for the next 3 days out for each attraction.
Social Media sharing, it’s now even easier to share your favourite days out with your friends.
Breadcrumb trail to help you navigate between your days out.
All new search page.
A Tag system (which is still in Beta mode).
The Tag System (Beta Mode)
We decided to add a tag system to help categorise our thousands of great days out in WideCow. At the moment the tags system is still in beta mode for testing as we have not managed fully add tags to all the days out, but we were so happy with the results for how it helps find what you are looking for, that we decided to share it with our users early. We hope you like it as much as we do?
These are just a few things which are new at WideCow and there are plenty more that we will be adding to the site in 2013.
