Wendover Woods is a 325-hectare woodland situated in the northern Chilterns, southeast of Aylesbury, off the B4009 between Aston Clinton and Wendover.
Located on the highest point in the Chilterns at 267 metres, the walking trails and picnic spots provide stunning views of the vale and beyond.
Below are a few of the features you can enjoy when you visit Wendover Woods:
• A selection of walking trails of variable distances to suit any kind of walker, including the popular Firecrest trail, all-access Hilltop trail, and many more paths, trails and public footpaths
• Children's Play Area
• Car Parking at centre of woods for easy access
• BBQ Spots and Picnic Areas
• Cafe in the Woods for food and refreshments
• Fitness Trail with exercise stations for those who prefer their work-outs in a natural setting
• A 11km Family Cycle Trail

• Orienteering course (maps sold in the Cafe at the woods or Forest Office)

The following car parking charges apply to the central car parks. £1.50 for up to two hours, £3.00 for up to four hours, and £5.50 for all day. There is a free car park at the end of the forest drive which can be accessed directly from St Leonards Road. Gate closing times are around dusk or just after. These can be accessed via the website.
