About Upper Wharfedale

Area of classic Yorkshire Dales countryside. Amongst these 2,470ha (6,100 acres) of the Upper Wharfe valley north of Kettlewell, the Trust owns 9 farms and the hamlets of Yockenthwaite and Cray. The landscape incorporates dry-stone walls and barns, important flower-rich hay meadows, valleyside woodland and blanket bog.
