About Towner Art Gallery and Local Museum

Towner is an exciting new art gallery and the leading centre for visual arts in the South East. The doors opened to the public for the first time on Saturday 4 April 2009.
Towner presents a unique programme of major exhibitions of contemporary and historical visual art alongside displays from the important Towner art collection.
Towner offers a range of award winning development and activity programmes for people of all ages, backgrounds and interests so that everyone can take part in this exciting new organisation.
