Highly commended in Lincolnshire Star Awards 2006 - Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary was named Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year 2004 by the Good Britain Guide.Rescues and rehabilitates orphaned and injured seals and pups.
Natureland is well known for rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned and injured seal pups that become stranded on Lincolnshire beaches. Regular seal feeding times enable visitors to learn more about the seals and the rehabilitation work. Other features include penguins, Aquarium, pets corner, tropical butterflies (April-October), reptiles (crocodiles, snakes etc) Koi carp pool and animal brass rubbing. Rescued Seals are returned back to the wild once rehabilitated.
