An interpretive Visitor Centre with an audio-visual presentation telling the story of Llyn Brenig, a Cafe and Shop with panoramic views over the lake, and an adventure playground for children which is free. There is a 10.5-mile circular walk round the lake, nature trails, and an archaological trail. Most of the moorland is in the Mynydd Hiraethog Site of Special Scientific Interest where a management scheme is regenerating Black Grouse
