The five acre gardens are at 1000' on a north facing slope and are well known for their sculpture, meconopsis, azaleas, rhodedendrons and summer borders together with a collection of plantings into open grassland. There is an indoor gallery and around the garden are various sculptures.
The gardens have been featured on 'Gardener's World' and Radio 4's 'Open Country'.
