The AOP Gallery is run by the Association of Photographers and is committed to exhibiting a broad range of photographic work and to provide an open and welcoming environment for visitors and AOP members alike.
The Gallery is unique in that its members are not only leading photographers in the fields of advertising, design, fashion, editorial and fine art but include photographic assistants and students of photographic media.
The AOP Gallery was conceived to provide an arena for the membership of the AOP to display their creativity and professional excellence but through its 22 years of existence the Gallery’s schedule has included a plethora of related exhibitions.
The present aim is to reach as wide and diverse an audience as possible. In addition to hosting the AOP Awards and solo and group exhibitions of member’s work the Gallery also hosts exhibitions and events by individuals or corporations. The intention is to provide a forum for promotion of the best of photography as a medium and its associated practices or business.
